Jon Guridi suffers injury: Sevilla without him for 2-3 weeks
Sevilla confirm Jon Guridi has a long adductor injury and will miss at least 2-3 weeks, ahead of the Bernabéu trip.
Sevilla have received another setback with Jon Guridi: the club’s medical staff report a injury to the long adductor in his right thigh, ruling him out for between two and three weeks at minimum. The issue hits just as Luis García Plaza’s side prepare to travel to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The update comes on top of other problems. Sevilla also learned that Miguel Sierra will need surgery. The young winger was forced off against Levante with a shoulder injury after a challenge by Manu Sánchez, later confirmed as a dislocation that requires an operation; he is expected to be out for at least two and a half months and won’t return until 2027.
On top of that, the coach won’t have Isaac Romero for the Bernabéu after the club chose not to appeal the second yellow card he received at the Ciutat de València.
