Chelsea crushed Bournemouth 5-1 at Stamford Bridge, with Jordan Henderson scoring two to set the pace early. Sky Sports highlights how Xabi Alonso’s side bounced back from their Brentford defeat before the international break, moving into fifth place in the early Premier League table.
Henderson opened the scoring after just 65 seconds, firing in from close range after good play by Cole Palmer, with the ball eventually coming off the post. The midfielder then added a second strike as Joao Pedro netted twice and Morgan Rogers also got on the scoresheet.
Bournemouth pulled one back through Evanilson, but the match ended with the visitors comprehensively outplayed.
