Jordy Majenfo, Fribourg left-back, faces Monaco: ASM chased him
Monaco pushed hard at the end of August but Fribourg blocked the move. Thursday at Louis-II, Majenfo’s team are Bundesliga third.
Jordy Majenfo, Fribourg’s left-back, will now take on Monaco in the Ligue Conférence. L’ASM were close to signing the Franco-Congolese player at the end of August, but his club ultimately “closed the door” on any departure.
Since then, Majenfo has started the season strongly with SC Freiburg, currently third in the Bundesliga. This Thursday, the side travels to Louis-II for a 21:00 kickoff against Monaco in Europe.
As L'Équipe reports, the interest didn’t turn into a deal back then, but the European fixture puts Majenfo back on the radar in real time.
