Joselu Mato is official: joins Al-Sailiya in Qatar

Joselu Mato is now officially a new Al-Sailiya player, after becoming a free agent when his Al-Gharafa stint ended. The Spanish forward moves within Qatar after two seasons where he delivered strong numbers in the Qatar Stars League.

In his last spell in the league, he played 58 matches, scored 28 goals and added five assists. Before that, at Real Madrid, he played a key role in winning the Champions League, as well as LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup.

A European champion with Spain in 2024, Joselu now starts his third consecutive season in Qatar and will wear the team’s second strip from day one.
