Juan Cruz (Málaga) suffers another setback and is a doubt vs Real Sociedad
The Málaga forward is still sidelined after a right-hamstring relapse and is heading toward missing the Sunday clash at La Rosaleda.
Málaga are pushing hard for their Real Sociedad visit this Sunday with Juan Cruz (Málaga) sitting out once again: the forward has not trained with the group and his next few hours of progress will be decisive. MARCA reports that the issue is a relapse in his muscular injury in the right leg’s hamstring (biceps femoral).
Late check before kickoff
With the match three days away, Juan Cruz continues with tailored work on a tight schedule, leaving his availability up in the air. The session also included individual recovery routines for Murillo, Aaron Ochoa and Julen Lobete, who likewise remain out of the team’s normal training.
The work began just before 10:30 in the gym, before the squad moved to the pitch to warm up and carry out tactical and strategic exercises. Málaga still have two training sessions: the first is this Friday at 10:30 at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF.
