Juanmi Latasa out 4-6 weeks with left knee sprain
Valladolid confirmed a left knee collateral ligament sprain after the striker’s injury vs Eldense; he’s expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
Juanmi Latasa will miss 4 to 6 weeks after Valladolid confirmed a left-knee sprain suffered during the match against Eldense. The striker was forced off after half an hour, when his side led 1-0.
MARCA reports the tests showed a grade II sprain in the medial collateral ligament, putting him on the sidelines long enough to disrupt Fran Escribá’s attacking plans. The timing wasn’t good for Valladolid either: after Latasa’s injury, Eldense staged a comeback—equalising before halftime, responding again after the 1-1, and taking all three points with a late winner.
Escribá also won’t have Víctor Jr. for the next trip to Granada, after he was sent off for two bookings against the same opponent.
