Jules Koundé at risk of losing his spot under Zidane

The question hanging over him is straightforward: Jules Koundé could see reduced minutes if Zidane reshuffles his starting XI. The core of the debate is whether the coach will keep the same defensive structure or make changes in how the team lines up.

As highlighted by L'Équipe, internal competition around the full-back role shapes what happens next. Depending on how Zidane seeks balance in his setup, Koundé’s place in the plan could be vulnerable—especially if the manager decides the role needs a different profile.
