Julian Ryerson’s injury leaves Dortmund tight on the wings

Julian Ryerson had to leave early during the Norway trip, and Borussia Dortmund can already feel the effect on the full-back spot. As kicker points out, the setback highlights a recurring problem for the team on the wing.

The report also includes a silver lining: one of Dortmund’s specialists for the position is currently in excellent form. With Ryerson injured, the squad will need to adjust roles on the flank to keep control defensively.
