Brest’s 1-2 loss to Nice ended on a painful note for Kenny Lala and a turning point from Elye Wahi. Per L'Équipe, Lala had a cruel finish: he lost his duel in the move that brought the equaliser and then saw his penalty saved by Yéhvann Diouf in added time.
Wahi was quieter for long stretches, but he made the impact count. He levelled the match from a corner and later forced the play that led to the winner for Nice’s “Aiglons”.
