Kevin Schade contract talks as Arsenal and Liverpool track him
Brentford are negotiating a new deal for the Germany winger, who has three goals and is in the final two years of his contract.
Kevin Schade, at Brentford, is in talks over a new long-term contract as interest ramps up from bigger Premier League sides. According to Sky Sports, the negotiations have started with Arsenal and Liverpool among the clubs keeping close tabs on the Germany winger.
Schade is currently entering the final two years of his deal, signed when he joined Brentford from SC Freiburg in June 2023 for £20m. The club wants to improve his terms, especially after a strong start: he has scored three goals this season so far.
Brentford’s early form backs up that momentum. The winger’s output comes as the team sits fourth in the Premier League after their opening five matches, with two home wins over Tottenham and Chelsea and three draws.
His Premier League tally at Brentford has now reached 25 goals in 119 games, alongside nine assists. Internationally, Schade has featured for Germany at the World Cup and started Jurgen Klopp’s first match as manager against the Netherlands.
