Kochorashvili and Miguel Sierra are big headaches for Sevilla before Real Madrid
Sevilla will be without Miguel Sierra for at least three months and will have to manage Kochorashvili’s workload ahead of the trip to Real Madrid.
Sevilla head to Real Madrid with the midfield in doubt: Kochorashvili has trained away from the group due to overload, while Miguel Sierra will be sidelined for at least three months with a shoulder dislocation.
As Mundo Deportivo reports, Luis García Plaza has already ruled out Guridi for the match against the Whites because of a long adductor injury. Now he’s also dealing with Kochorashvili after the Georgian started against Levante despite expectations that he would rest after international duty. Instead, he had to slow down and trained separately on both Thursday and Wednesday, while Tuesday’s starters only did recovery work.
Double reshuffle in midfield
Up front, Agoumé and Fofana are expected to be starters. Fofana finished very tired against Levante, and the hosts’ late surge helped them earn a draw. Kochorashvili is not ruled out yet, but the plan is to manage him so Sevilla can strengthen the central channel.
Miguel Sierra will go under the knife and won’t play again until 2027. Isaac Romero is also unavailable after being sent off for celebrating the 2-3 against Levante by telling the crowd to be quiet.
