LaLiga files a complaint over chant targeting Vinícius at Real Sociedad
In its eighth-matchday report to the RFEF and anti-violence commission, LaLiga cites “Vinícius is an idiot” among other insults.
LaLiga has included in its eighth-matchday complaint report the chant “Vinícius es un imbécil”, sung by Real Sociedad fans during the match against Deportivo La Coruña.
LaLiga notes that the weekly submission it sends to the Spanish FA (RFEF) and the anti-violence commission covers chants that carry insulting content. The same report also lists three incidents in Alavés-Atlético Madrid aimed at Spain and the national team, plus two chants in Málaga-Espanyol targeting Bryan Zaragoza—“Bryan muérete”—in a game that finished 1-1.
The league compiles these reports through its LALIGAVS platform, which collects inputs and requests from supporters to help tackle violence in stadiums, a task LaLiga has been calling for more resources for.
