Lautaro Martínez ruled out at least three weeks with left thigh flexor issue (Inter)
Inter confirmed a left-thigh flexor muscle problem. Lautaro could miss up to seven matches, including the Milan derby.
Inter announced that Lautaro Martínez will be sidelined for at least three weeks after undergoing clinical and instrumental tests at Humanitas in Rozzano. The findings point to a muscle discomfort in the left thigh flexors.
The injury came right after the striker scored twice in the European match versus Club Brugge, where Inter suffered a 3-4 home defeat.
With the international break starting on 9 November, the schedule is brutal: if recovery timelines hold, he is expected back after the break. That could mean missing European games against Shakhtar Donetsk and Feyenoord, plus Serie A fixtures versus Bologna, Fiorentina, Venezia, Milan and Como, with the Milan derby also potentially in doubt.
