Lewis Koumas starts at Anfield: his first Premier League start vs City

Lewis Koumas will start at Anfield for Liverpool this Monday against Manchester City, marking his first-ever Premier League start. The 21-year-old steps into a special moment after featuring five times this season.

The decision from Andoni Iraola comes for a massive clash, with two forwards unavailable: Isak and Ekitike are ruled out. With those absences, Koumas gets the nod to lead the line. Fabrizio Romano reports that the youngster will begin the match as Liverpool chase a big result.
