Lothar Matthäus urges Klopp to consider Niclas Füllkrug

Lothar Matthäus has made a clear case for the potential return of Niclas Füllkrug to the DFB-Team, telling Jürgen Klopp he should “think about it” and consider the Werder Bremen striker, as reported by kicker.

Füllkrug himself doesn’t want to fuel the discussion about a possible call-up, but the topic is gathering momentum. Matthäus points out that more and more others are raising it with greater clarity than ever before—keeping the pressure on Klopp and, indirectly, on the national-team conversation.
