Lucas Stassin gets a special plan at Sevilla for Osasuna visit
The Belgian missed training this week with minor complaints, but Sevilla are working to have him available on Monday at Nervión.
Sevilla are putting together a specific plan for Lucas Stassin ahead of Monday’s visit from Osasuna at the Sánchez Pizjuán after the Belgian did not train with the group this week due to some discomfort. The club’s message is that it is not connected to his previous issue: a myofascial injury in the long adductor of his right leg.
Stassin missed the game against Barcelona before the league break, and he was also unavailable for Sevilla’s trip to Levante at the Ciutat de València. As reported by Mundo Deportivo, the medical staff and fitness coaches have designed tailored work so he can be an option, having already played a few minutes at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Uncertainty in the starting XI
It does not look like Stassin will start, with Robbie Ure holding an edge to begin. Coach Luis García Plaza still plans to use him depending on how the match develops, with Isaac Romero available after serving his suspension against Real Madrid. Kochorashvili is fully recovered and is in contention to start, while Miguel Sierra, Guridi and Marcao are ruled out with injuries.
