Luis Enrique, mixed signals: report suggests a “false farewell”

French outlet L'Équipe highlights a striking line: Luis Enrique’s apparent “false farewell”. The story frames what had been presented as a potential exit as something more complicated, with the timing and intent questioned.

With that narrative taking hold, the attention shifts back to his future and the impact on his team’s immediate planning. For now, the message from France is that the goodbye being sold is not as clear-cut as it sounded.
