Luis García Plaza gives the Sevilla squad 2.5 days off

Sevilla coach Luis García Plaza has granted the squad two and a half days off to help them shut out the noise surrounding the Bernabéu aftermath. The side returns to action after the short break focused on reducing the media pressure.

The timeline started with a loss at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán to Barcelona, and then, on their return, Sevilla drew 3-3 vs Levante before falling 4-1 to Real Madrid. In LaLiga, before the November break, Sevilla still have three matches: two at home against Osasuna and Alavés, plus one away at Getafe. Before that, they’ll play the first Copa elimination against Hortaleza.

While the team tries to disconnect, president José María del Nido Carrasco traveled this Tuesday to the Las Rozas training ground to meet the Comité Técnico de Árbitros (CTA) and demand explanations.
