Luis Miguel Ramis fumes: Natan’s red card ‘crystal clear’ vs Betis

Ramis criticised VAR after Osasuna’s red-card appeal for Natan before Isco’s 4-2 in La Cartuja.

Osasuna coach Luis Miguel Ramis left La Cartuja unhappy after his side’s defeat to Real Betis, pointing to two refereeing issues: the penalty that led to Isco opening the scoring and a second-half incident where Osasuna believe Natan should have been sent off before the 4-2.

Ramis argued the VAR makes the contact obvious: “Natan doesn’t want to interrupt Rubén’s run, but Rubén times it well and crosses… If you cross and you touch it, the player goes down.” He added that once he watched the replay, “it’s crystal clear” and “doesn’t admit interpretation”.

The coach also reflected on the match flow: his team “got back into it after 3-0”, but he blamed the third goal after a double rebound and said that across eight matchdays Osasuna have not had the right luck in decisions like these.
