Málaga head into weekend with same injury worries: Aznou, Cajuste and Murillo
Málaga has the weekend off and returns Monday 28 at 18:30, with Espanyol in mind after setbacks to Aznou and Cajuste.
Málaga face the weekend with no LaLiga action and several players still unavailable: Aznou, Cajuste, Murillo, Aarón Ochoa and Lobete are working separately, while Einar and Cruz also remain outside the group. On Friday, coach Juanfran Funes led a technical-tactical session focusing on ball work.
The main targets for the return are to get Adam Aznou and Jens Cajuste back. The two new signings have yet to debut for Málaga and both have the match against Espanyol marked as a key date. The club also hopes Fernando Calero can be available soon after three rib fractures suffered in a pre-season friendly against Ceuta.
Diego Murillo looks set to return in around a month and a half, while Aarón Ochoa is scheduled to come back in January, according to MARCA.
The squad resumes training next Monday 28 at 18:30 at La Rosaleda.
