Manu Morlanes and Antoniu Roca operated: months out for Mallorca
Morlanes is expected to miss about four months; Roca about six weeks after surgery in Barcelona.
RCD Mallorca has had Manu Morlanes and Antoniu Roca go under the knife. As reported by MARCA, Roca was operated on yesterday afternoon in Barcelona by Dr. Puigdellívol, while Morlanes underwent surgery last Sunday with Dr. Cugat in the same city.
The injury affecting the winger is in the ligaments of his left ankle. Return timelines will depend on recovery, but Mallorca estimates around four months out for Morlanes and roughly six weeks for Roca.
It’s a major double blow for Luis García, especially for the midfield. After the international break, several players will return to the island in time for the squad for Sunday’s match, with Martin Valjent among the regular starters.
