Marcos André loaned to Al Najma after market deadline

Real Valladolid and Al Najma have agreed to the loan of the federative rights of Marcos André until the end of the current season, as MARCA reports.

Loan deal with buy option

The forward will spend this campaign in Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement reached on the day of the market closing in the country, Al Najma also holds an option to buy linked to the terms of the deal.

For Valladolid, the move brings final closure to the player’s immediate future. The club will now monitor how the spell in Arabia Saudí develops, while the Saudi side adds an attacker with experience in Spain.

His spell at Valladolid

Marcos André has had two stints with Valladolid. He joined the club initially to play for their reserve team in 2019-20, and after a short run with the youth setup he was loaned out to Mirandés. With the first team, he featured in 2020-21 in LaLiga.

After that, he was signed by Valencia. Two seasons later he returned to the Pucela in 2023-24, where he played 88 matches (45 in LaLiga, 40 in the Segunda and 3 in the Copa del Rey) and scored 14 goals.

With this transfer, the striker changes leagues and environment—while MARCA notes the key point is that Al Najma will decide whether to turn the loan into a permanent deal later on.
