Marko Dmitrovic again starts on the bench for Espanyol vs Atlético
The Serbia keeper, recovered from a back issue, won’t start at 14:00 as Espanyol line up likely in a 5-2-3.
Marko Dmitrovic, Espanyol’s goalkeeper, is once more named among the substitutes for this afternoon’s game against Atlético de Madrid, who are second and sit five points behind FC Barcelona. Mundo Deportivo reports the confirmed starting XI for the 14:00 kick-off.
Espanyol are 12th with eight points after three matches without a win. Their most recent outing was a 1-1 draw at Málaga, when Àngel Fortuño started in goal due to Dmitrovic’s back problems; even though he’s back to full fitness, he still doesn’t make the XI.
Manolo González sets up a likely 5-2-3: Fortuño; Omar, Drkusic, Riedel, Cabrera, Hinojo; Pol Lozano and Edu Expósito; Javi Hernández, Bryan Zaragoza and Roberto Fernández. On the bench: Dmitrovic (ps), Gorosabel, Hartman, Urko, Puado, Pere Milla, Unai Núñez, Marcos Fernández, Moscardo, Calatrava, Dolan and Bauza.
