Marseille vs Le Havre keeps its kick-off: Sunday at 17:15
Ligue 1’s eighth round stays on schedule: OM host Le Havre this Sunday at 17:15, reports RMC Sport.
The Olympique de Marseille will face Le Havre this Sunday at its original time, 17:15, with no schedule change for this Ligue 1 eighth-day match, according to RMC Sport.
The broadcast had considered shifting OM–Le Havre to the evening slot if the other key game—PSG-OL—was postponed. That matchup is set for 20:45, and was under uncertainty because of a heavy police deployment for the second act of protests over the “cheaper cost of living” during the weekend.
RMC Sport adds that moving a game for these reasons requires agreement from both clubs and also approval from the authorities. When contacted by Paris police headquarters, the Ligue said it was not planning a delay given it’s Sunday rather than Saturday, but noted it would follow the authorities’ decision.
Sunday’s other fixtures are set too: Monaco-Lille (15:00), Angers-Lorient (17:15), Auxerre-Le Mans (17:15), Rennes-Strasbourg (17:15) and Toulouse-Troyes (17:15).
