Martin Demichelis returns to Allianz Arena with Leipzig aiming to press forward

After 16 years away from playing at Bayern’s home ground, Demichelis hopes for a turnaround during Leipzig’s trip.

Martin Demichelis is set to return to the Allianz Arena with RB Leipzig: it’s been 16 years since his last home appearance for FC Bayern.

As kicker points out, his task is to take a step forward after the pattern of RB Leipzig’s previous away games at Bayern. Based on those results, the mission looks close to impossible.

Back in Múnich and with that history as context, Demichelis’ challenge is to turn the trend around in the match itself.
