Martín Satriano returns to Spain with an “inflamed” knee: Getafe
The Getafe striker leaves Uruguay after a “process of inflammation” in his knee, with a possible return following Barça and Europe.
Martín Satriano, the Getafe forward, is back in Spain after Uruguay reported an “inflammatory process” in his knee. As MARCA explains, he had been training with the national team under Diego Forlán, but the federation informed the club, and both agreed it was best for him to begin recovery at Getafe.
The timing cuts short his call-up for the senior squad during this international window. Getafe resume training this week with a league game against FC Barcelona on Saturday and an early European trip next week to Universitatea Craiova in Romania. Bordalás could be without him while new tests are carried out after his return.
