Matthieu Udol could start again at centre-back for Lens vs Club Brugge

Matthieu Udol, a left-back for RC Lens, could be named in the starting XI as a centre-back on Wednesday against Club Brugge KV in the Champions League. The expectation, as L'Équipe reports, is that the move would help cover a long list of absences.

Rather than just filling in, the coaching staff would look to use Udol’s role flexibility to strengthen the back line in a high-stakes European match.
