Miguel Molina confirms Arsenal’s interest in Vinícius

Miguel Molina, Arteta’s assistant at Arsenal, confirmed on Radio Marca that the club genuinely considered the possibility of signing Vinícius Júnior before his renewal with Real Madrid. Vinícius was one of the big names in the past summer transfer chatter, until he ended up staying at the Bernabéu.

Molina said he couldn’t go beyond what is “real”, but insisted the deal talk did include the Brazilian: “a name that was on the table.” He also described Arteta’s work style inside the building: “the first to arrive, the last to leave,” highly intense and “súper exigente.” He added that Arteta’s best quality is getting the best out of everyone around him, players and staff, and that at Arsenal there’s a strong “team feeling” and “togetherness”, with the group placed above anything else, per Mundo Deportivo.
