Mikel Arteta becomes the Premier League’s top-paid boss on £20m

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s head coach, has become the Premier League’s highest-paid manager on a new contract worth £20m-a-year, according to the Daily Mail.

The paper places him ahead of the rest of the league’s coaches thanks to the pay bump tied to his continued work in north London.

In the same Premier League roundup, the Daily Star also says Liverpool are weighing up another blockbuster signing to boost their already expensive attacking options.
