Miki Codina could miss 4-6 weeks: Sabadell injury scare

Bad news for the Sabadell: Miki Codina could be out between four and six weeks due to a tear in the right-leg hamstrings, as Mundo Deportivo reports. The midfielder didn’t make the squad for the match against Burgos after the coaching staff said they were waiting on medical test results.

The issue was already present in the game against AD Ceuta FC, when Codina was substituted at half-time. After returning to Sabadell, early tests didn’t fully clarify the extent of the problem, so he needed another medical check, which kept him as a doubt until the final moments before El Plantío.

If the estimate holds, he would miss five to six official fixtures: Tenerife, Utebo, Albacete, Real Sociedad B, Eldense and Granada. For alternatives, Sabadell used Pipa on the opposite side versus Burgos, with Eneko Aguilar also mentioned as a potential option.
