Miki Codina is a doubt for Sabadell vs Burgos after injury worries

Miki Codina, Sabadell left-back, is a doubt after injury concerns ahead of the trip to Burgos at El Plantío. In the previous match vs Ceuta, he had to ask to be replaced and spent the second half on the bench. The situation comes on top of another defensive issue: Edgar’s suspension already forced changes.

The coach made it clear there is still no final decision: “We’re waiting; he’s not ruled out. We need to do more tests. The first ones didn’t give us the clarity we wanted, and we’re waiting for the final results to understand what it really is,” Mundo Deportivo reports.

On Saturday morning the squad will run the last training session of the week to check Codina’s physical state and whether he can be available on Sunday. After that, they’ll concentrate and travel—first by plane to Bilbao, then by bus to Burgos, with an overnight stay before the match.
