Mourinho gets his internationals back: Vinícius, Endrick and Brahim
On the last day of the FIFA window, Real Madrid welcomed Vinícius, Endrick, Brahim, Diomande and Dumfries to training at Valdebebas.
José Mourinho kicked off the recovery of Real Madrid’s internationals on the last day of the FIFA window, during the second week training session at Valdebebas. The squad welcomed Vinícius, Endrick and Brahim Díaz, along with Abdoulaye Diomande and Denzel Dumfries.
They joined the usual group who weren’t called up for their national teams: Éder Militão, Álvaro Carreras, Antonio Rüdiger, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin. Thiago Pitarch also trained with the first team after logging minutes with Castilla and the Spain U-20 side.
Vinícius and Endrick played three friendlies for Brazil, including a 0-4 win vs India on 3 October; Brahim featured with Morocco in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and in his latest friendly during the break. Ibrahima Konaté worked separately in the gym and on the pitch after leaving his national team camp on 24 September with a right knee collateral ligament issue. Camavinga, Arda Güler and Bernardo Silva haven’t returned yet. Real Madrid are back in LaLiga on Saturday 10 October at 21:00, hosting Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu, sitting fourth and 6 points behind Barcelona.
