Mourinho names Real Madrid squad vs Sevilla: Militão returns, Vinícius out
Vinícius Júnior misses the match due to a four-game ban for his red card vs Villarreal; Militão is back in the squad.
Real Madrid face Sevilla in LaLiga with a clear headline: Vinícius Júnior is absent from Mourinho’s matchday squad after being sent off against Villarreal and serving a four-game suspension. The big return in the list is Éder Militão, who is back after not playing since April 21.
Defensive boost
Militão has missed 16 matches since that date. He may not start, but he’s available to play at the Bernabéu.
Others still sidelined
Along with Vinícius, Álvaro Rodríguez, Rodrygo and Mendy are not expected to feature in the starting XI and will watch the game from the stands.
The squad includes:
- Defenders: Militão, Huijsen, Trent, Konaté, Cucurella, Á. Carreras, Rüdiger, Dumfries.
- Midfielders: Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni, Arda Güler, Bernardo, Thiago.
- Forwards: Endrick, Mbappé, C. Espí, Brahim, Yan Diomande.
