Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal) makes Golden Boy 2026 shortlist

The England midfielder, 20, is among 25 nominees for the U21 Golden Boy, with the Premier League dominating the race.

Arsenal and England midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly has been named in the 25-man shortlist for the Golden Boy 2026 award, which goes to Europe’s best Under-21 men’s player.

As reported by Sky Sports, the Premier League provides nearly a third of the contenders. Bournemouth and Brighton each have two players: Eli Junior Kroupi and Rayan for the Cherries, plus Luka Vuskovic and Charalampos Kostoulas for the Seagulls. Chelsea are also represented by Estevao Willian and Jorrel Hato, while Manchester City summer signing Ayyoub Bouaddi completes the league presence mentioned in the piece.

Lamine Yamal misses out because he has already won the award.
