Napoli must win vs Bodø/Glimt after starting Champions with 0 points
This Tuesday at 21:00, Napoli host a Bodø/Glimt that already beat Dortmund and are hunting their first win of the phase.
Napoli head into the Champions League’s fourth matchday with 0 points after the third round, and this Tuesday (21:00) they need a win at the Diego Maradona against Bodø/Glimt, according to Mundo Deportivo. Allegri’s side start as favourites, but the visitors arrive with bite after shocking Europe by beating Borussia Dortmund in the second game.
The pressure is higher because Napoli also come off a Serie A defeat: this weekend they lost to Venezia, a team that had lost all their matches up to that point. With their fans demanding results, the goal is to open their points tally.
Possible XI with a key doubt
On team news, Scott McTominay is pencilled in for the starting XI, though his spot isn’t confirmed after undergoing ablation to correct a mild, benign heart arrhythmia, which kept him out versus Venezia. For Bodø/Glimt, Knutsen is expected to have his main players available, including Blomberg—who had muscle issues but should be fit in time.
The referee will be José María Sánchez (Spain) at the Diego Armando Maradona.
