Nice 1-1 Strasbourg at the break: Hein’s own goal
On matchday 6 of Ligue 1, the tie swings right before halftime thanks to an own goal by Hein.
After the international break, Ligue 1 resumes this Sunday, 11 October, as OGC Nice host RC Strasbourg at 15:00. The first half finishes with the scores level after a chaotic run of chances: Essugo puts Strasbourg ahead, but Hein equalises with an own goal moments before the break.
A crazy end to the first half
Nice step on the gas just before halftime. Amoura comes down the left, sets up Wahi, and Hein’s powerful delivery is redirected by Demba into the home net, turning the moment into the match’s key twist.
Injuries and intensity
Coulibaly appears to be struggling, gets treatment and is replaced by Boudaoui, who quickly looks involved. Strasbourg also presses and creates danger, with Wahi testing the visiting goal, but the equaliser in stoppage-time keeps both sides hooked going into the second half, as RMC Sport reports.
