Niclas Füllkrug flips it: Dortmund blow a 2-0 lead
Dortmund miss their fifth straight win: after 85 minutes looking in control, Werder Bremen level late with Füllkrug’s goal.
Niclas Füllkrug, returning for Werder Bremen, turned the match and helped deny Borussia Dortmund a 2-0 win. The game looked under control for the home side up to the 85th minute, when the striker struck to swing the result.
The setback ends Dortmund’s momentum: they had won their first five games, but against Bremen they finally dropped points.
As kicker reports, Dortmund seemed set for victory—until Füllkrug’s late goal.
