Nico Williams is a doubt: Athletic return to work with Terzic watching

Athletic are back at work today at Lezama (10.30) with Saturday’s trip to Valencia at Mestalla in mind, and Nico Williams is the main doubt. Coach Terzic said last Saturday his return would be “a matter of days”.
It has been exactly two weeks since the winger suffered a moderate injury in the rectus anterior of his left leg during a match with the Spain national team. Ahead of the postponed clash with Rayo, Terzic said: “We hope he can start training again next week.”
There’s more to monitor: Laporte didn’t travel to Madrid due to a late indisposition, though he’s expected to be available with the rest of the squad. Athletic will also see whether Imga continues this week’s first-team rhythm for Valencia.
