Nicolas Raskin, the Belgium midfielder at Rangers, says he is “really happy” at the club but admits he does not know what could happen in January. The 25-year-old netted his first goal of the season in last weekend’s 2-2 draw at Dundee, having started Rangers’ previous seven matches.

Raskin joined Rangers in January 2023 and has made more than 150 appearances for the club, while also collecting 22 Belgium caps. Asked about refocusing amid transfer uncertainty, he said the hardest part was “not being able to play”, adding that he is keen to stay calm because he is “really happy” where he is.

Rangers boss Derek McInnes said they are not looking to lose key players in January, noting that Raskin has been a “key player” and stressing that the window is one where clubs can bid well above a player’s value. McInnes also revealed a sickness bug has affected the squad and could make two regular starters doubtful for Saturday’s visit to St Johnstone, according to BBC Sport.
