Niko Kovač upset after 0-0: “Too little for our standards”

Niko Kovač made his frustration clear after Borussia Dortmund’s 0-0 draw at Union Berlin. The coach said he wasn’t satisfied with the team’s output, with poor precision coming in as the biggest issue.

“For our standards, too little,” he said, implying the performance fell short of what he expects. The goalless result suggested Dortmund had control in phases but couldn’t turn it into clear chances when it mattered most.

As reported by kicker, the lack of sharpness in front of goal was the key reason behind Kovač’s anger after the match.
