Olabarrieta and Eder García score again as Athletic loans win

Athletic’s on-loan players in Segunda, Olabarrieta and Eder García, found the net again and helped their sides secure victories this weekend.

Goals and points in Valladolid

At Zorrilla, Olabarrieta celebrated the 1-2 moment in Valladolid 2-3 Eldense. The winger from Luiaondo made the most of a long ball from his keeper in first-half stoppage time, controlled on the move and finished past Aceves. It was his second goal, following another strike a couple of weeks earlier versus Oviedo.

Decisive in Leganés

Eder García, meanwhile, scored the 0-1 at Leganés for Córdoba, breaking the deadlock at 83 minutes with a shot from inside the box.

Concern at Bilbao

Back at Athletic, the club’s latest update is about Guruzeta: a torn cruciate ligament.
