OM sporting director Grégory Lorenzi has spoken about a tough start to the campaign in Ligue 1, where his side sit penultimate. He says he took up his role in June amid drastic financial restrictions, which meant he couldn’t recruit.
Lorenzi’s message is direct: «Je n’aime pas quand on est dans le confort». In his view, the current situation is the opposite of what the club wants, and the priority is to turn the momentum around despite the lack of options in the market.
