Osasuna concede 14 goals in three away games after losing 5-2 to Betis

Against Betis they lost 5-2; over the last five league games they’ve conceded 17 and kept a clean sheet just twice.

The CA Osasuna coached by Luis Miguel Ramis suffered again this Sunday, conceding a 5-2 loss to Real Betis at La Cartuja. With that defeat, the side has shipped 14 goals across its last three away matches, leaving them among LaLiga’s most exposed defenses.

The trend is worsening: Osasuna have allowed 17 goals in their last five league rounds. They have only kept a clean sheet twice in eight matchdays, versus Levante and Getafe. Of the goals conceded, 13 came from inside the box and five from outside, and against Betis there was even an own goal from Ante Budimir.

No solution in goal

Ramis has kept changing options. Sergio Herrera started the season and conceded eight goals in five games before Aitor Fernández was given a chance in the match against Atlético Madrid. The swap didn’t stop the bleeding: Aitor conceded four vs Atlético and another in the later draw against Rayo Vallecano, ending up with ten goals conceded in three matches. Next up, Osasuna face Racing Santander, the only team ahead of them in goals conceded with 18.
