Óscar Valentín asks for dialogue: “a path to bring everyone closer”

Óscar Valentín, captain of Rayo Vallecano, called for “a path to bring everyone closer” on X after the Rayo–Athletic Club match was suspended and once the match’s report had been issued. The captain said the situation “has reached its limit” and urged that Rayo’s fans’ concerns be heard.

In his message, Valentín described a “glass” that filled “little by little for too long” and stressed the need to put “the greater good” first, above all “Rayo Vallecano’s best interest.” He also noted that in July he was among the first to share the letter signed by the first team’s players after activity was suspended at Vallecas.
