Pacheta looks for a forward at Granada after Marqués injury

Marqués’ injury has opened up new options for Pacheta at Granada CF. The striker left the pitch in the latest match with a muscular injury and, barring surprises and pending the official medical report, he is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks.

As MARCA reports, the coach has already tried different attacking setups. He started with the young Nigerian Chinaza in the opening rounds, but after the defeat at Ipurua he switched to a front line with Marqués up top and Pascual as a midfield playmaker. Now he has to adjust again.

The most likely call would be bringing Chinaza back into the starting XI. Another possibility is moving Pascual forward and keeping the Nigerian as a substitute, adding extra balance in midfield. A third alternative would be using Arnaiz as a false nine, a role he already played last season with good results and which helped Granada break a scoring drought.
