Palmer, Foden and Trent could be recalled to England squad

Tuchel’s May choices for the No 10 role were Jude Bellingham, Morgan Rogers and Eberechi Eze. Now, the argument for Palmer is that he looks in full fitness again after earlier groin issues restricted him to 26 appearances last season, and his performances have surged.

Sky Sports points to his output this term: two goals and two assists so far, adding context by noting that only Joao Pedro has more across the same Premier League sample, while Bruno Fernandes has created more chances and had more shots combined (25) than Palmer (24). The piece also suggests a possible opening in the role, with Eze’s recent form described as less convincing.
