Pellegrino Matarazzo warns: Real Sociedad face Málaga

Pellegrino Matarazzo, head coach of Real Sociedad, is looking for a win to extend the club’s strong LaLiga run when they travel to La Rosaleda to play Málaga, even if the opponent’s position and low scoring tally suggest otherwise.

The Real boss also tied the game to their European week: “The point we’ll judge based on how next week goes,” and he believes the following match will be “decisive” in assessing whether Thursday’s result counted.

Matarazzo confirmed that Yangel Herrera is out for tomorrow due to injury discomfort. He said they will call on one or two players from the Sanse, praising Gorrotxategi after a standout defensive performance on Thursday.

He also addressed selection options, saying Héctor Fort is available (“He’s fine, and he’s an option”), and adding that Órri/Óri will likely get more minutes than in the last two matches.

Don’t underestimate Málaga

Matarazzo stressed Real can’t underestimate Málaga despite their standing, warning they can be dangerous in front of goal and urging his team to play fast, aggressive football and stay confident.
