Péter Gulácsi ruled out vs Napoli after armed robbery at home

Péter Gulácsi, Villarreal’s goalkeeper, will miss the Champions League clash against Napoli after being the victim of an armed robbery at his home overnight, as Mundo Deportivo reports.

According to the local outlet 'El partit de la una', neither Gulácsi nor his family suffered physical injuries, although they were left shaken by the fear and tense situation.

Given what happened, both the player and the club decided the safest option was to leave him out of the matchday squad. Villarreal now has to rearrange for the European game, with Gulácsi having taken over the starting spot after Luiz Júnior lost it in early September.
