PSG boss Luis Enrique: visit Strasbourg aiming for a top-3 Ligue 1 spot

PSG, led by Luis Enrique, travel to Strasbourg this afternoon aiming to climb the Ligue 1 table before hosting Barcelona next Tuesday. The side goes into the match after beating Manchester City away last Wednesday (2-4), and sits sixth, three points behind the Monaco.

In his build-up, the coach was direct: “If we win, we’ll be among the top three.” He also addressed the talk about rotation after Maresca said PSG could rotate due to the lower level of the French league: “It’s typically the noise around a team like PSG… Once they win, people find excuses and complain.”

Strasbourg is 11th with seven points, and Luis Enrique expects a tough test: “Strasbourg will be difficult… They’ll want to prove themselves.” His message is consistent: they want a win to reach the top three, citing that they’re “in a good moment”.
