Quique Sánchez Flores operated on his knee injury
Alavés’ coach will recover after knee surgery, with the next test coming Saturday vs Atlético Madrid.
Alavés’ head coach, Quique Sánchez Flores, has undergone surgery for a knee injury. The club’s statement says the operation went normally and that he is evolving positively after the procedure.
The Alavés also reported that the operation was carried out by doctors Manuel Leyes and César Flores. The coach is said to be doing well, and he will continue with his usual work leading the first team during his recovery.
He arrives at this moment with a rough run on the bench: two losses and a draw in their last three matches. Their next game is this Saturday at Mendizorroza against Atlético de Madrid, a match he is expected to be able to direct.
